Just a quick note to show a pic of my spider web!! one of the simplest patterns ever. The turkey you ask..well I have to make nine crochet feathers...and well it is put on hold..I don't really enjoy working with yarn at all and then I saw some potholder patterns, and well...you know how it goes..so the turkey and its feathers are crammed in a bag..I just might get it done or NOT,,

  1. Wow so intricate, it is beautiful! I know what you mean about not enjoying working on something...hard to stay at it when it isn't fun.
Faith sent me a copy of directions for the pineapple doily in mint. Thanks so much for offering. I have started on it but have had so many different things going on. Darling granddaughter will be back in school next week so I will be keeping busy with projects so I won't miss her so much. When she is here, she gets my attention and crafting time. You know how we grandmothers are. Love that doily!!

  6. Hi Vikki! now this doily is making me feel like fall decorating and getting ready for halloween ;o)
Thank you for the sweet compliments on my painting post. I like painting, it's one of my favorite things to do.... I have been collecting carousel horses for a very long time...atleast since the mid 80's I would love to see the carousel your father made, how wonderful is that to be able to MAKE a carousel horse! I have one large one(prop) in my garage that I started painting but haven't finished. The large ones that are in my carousel room, on my side bar are actually props, they were bought from a woman in Wisconson who's mother owned a prop company in california many years ago. Have a wonderful day! hugs, Jennifer
