A dark and dreary day..here in Southern IN

Just finished this one up..thought you all would want a look..going to post it in my Etsy shoppe.. I am now working a very large project..A tablecloth.. I am hoping to get it done within a month. LOL it could happen. It is raining and dark here in Southern Indiana. So I am not feeling too ambitious. Ok well you guys all have a good day.

What a beautiful doily and color too. Looking forward to seeing your tablecloth. I'd love to make one "some day". It's rainy here today too. Enjoy your crochet day. :-)

I love the color, and it has a 'terraced' look. I love that too.

Vikki, I have seen this doily in a book at both Jo-Ann's and Hobby Lobby and just love it. I love the layered look. Is it a difficult pattern? I have been so bad lately and haven't done any crocheting or sewing. I have had personal business to take care of and it is a wonder info isn't coming out my ears my brain is so full. I am still not finished. I hope to finish one thing on line tomorrow and drop off paperwork on Monday and then it is just a matter of waiting. Also the graphics card went out of my new computer, only two months old, and I am not happy. FedEx dropped off the box to return it to HP for repairs and it will most likely be 12 to 15 days before I get it back. Can't back up anything because you can't see anything to do it. Grrrr. Nothing to do but hope for the best. It is dreary and rainy here today too. Hopefully we will have sunshine tomorrow. I should be getting lots of things done in the house but I haven't. I am using a laptop of my daughter and son-in-law's and I do not like laptops but am so happy to be able to stay online. Hope you get the tablecloth done quickly. Have a wonderful evening.

That's a beautiful doily vikki :o)
getting a puppy was NOT on MY to do list but I guess it was on my husbands :o/ He has always wanted a schnauzer and this one just HAPPENED to be needing a home, our vet has seen 3 white schnauzers at her hospital ours being one of them. Well it started out fun until we picked it up and found out it was covered in flea's as was the home it came from..took her directly to the vet no stopping at home and they kept her over night to DE-flea...brought her home took her shopping (my favorite part) and just as we were settling in to watch tv last night, I picked up the puppy and put her on my lap and she left me a tapeworm segment that was moving....panic! set in and we quarantined her until I can call the vet on monday. she has had some shots and worming meds but being in that home she just kept getting reinfested so we think she should be fine since the fleas are gone(that's where tapeworms come from). My home has no fleas cause I put stuff on everyone once a month since they were babies ;o) one more worming for her and she should be fine. I can't tell you how much cleaning I have done this weekend...I'm so paranoid about things like this....so it's been one of THOSE weekends...LOL! I hope you had a nice weekend! hugs Jennifer
