I was in a yellow state of mind...

These are last weeks project..I was in a yellow mood I guess....
I almost fell off the chair taking this pic..doesn't look blocked in the right shape in this pic..but it is.
see..Here they are in a set..I don't know if I will post them as a set in my etsy shop or not..
This one is just a happy doily..
and finally some coasters...I like coasters..I have them all over..I don't care if they get all gross..I just throw them in the dishwater and smooth them out and reuse..and when they get really funky I just toss them in the trash..
There is alot going on right now.  My middle daughter is getting married to her "baby daddy" in a little over a month.  I really am not doing much in the way of planning or doing things there as they have been living together for almost 8 years..Just making the round trip of about 400 miles everyother weekend is driving me crazy..My uncle passed away yesterday..he was diagnosed with a rapid growing brain tumor a little less than 3 months ago.  My youngest daughter has been in the adoption process and has been waiting patiently (not), for their portfolio to be chosen by a birth mother.  It is a Christian based organization that they are going through so the birth mother gets to pick the family of her baby..and can meet them..have a open relationship with them if they all agree.  Anyway,  they were chosen by a young mother that is having her baby in less than a month.  So please everyone pray that the young mother does not change her mind.   I know that the decision to to turn your baby over to someone has got to be one of the hardest things to do, and it has to be heartbreaking..So pray that God will be all over in that situation..for the birth mother, for my daughter and her husband..for all those involved. .. And finally I am going to New York for about a week to visit with my mother-in-law.  She lives outside of the big apple so taking a train into the city is not out of the question..we are driving..YUCK...I would rather fly..but the cost is unbelievable.   And poor Buddy is going to be boarded..I am not sure how I feel about that..He is a people dog..and to be away from us..oh my..not going to think about it..Ok I have rambled enough..I am hoping to get one last blog in before I leave for NY..but that may not happen.  Thanks for stopping by and hope it is cool where you are..still hot here Blessings...

Sending out the prayers for a good resolution for all involved, especially the babe. You really do have quite a bit going on...make sure to take your hook n yarn on the train...can't wait to see what you come back with....:)

I've made several of those angels, and have nothing to show for it. They are beautiful while they last. I have stiffened them, and spray them with a clear moisture proof spray, it helped a little. So now, I think I will try the embroidery hoop, like the christmas tree pattern. To give it stability and something for the thread to form to. Maybe there is a brush on waterproof, moistureproof product to put on the angel..It is difficult to store this one..but I'm thinking the embroidery hoops might help. I may start her wings this w/e. Let me know how you fair with this one....

Gorgeous doilies and coasters. I am always amazed at how much crocheting you can finish in such a short time. You do have a lot going on. I am so sorry for the loss of your uncle. Happened so quickly but perhaps that is God's blessing. I'll be praying for your daughters. Safe travels for your journey to New York.

Lovely doilies (as always).

Have loads of fun in New York and check out the Lion Brand shop in the city if you get to go, they say it's awesome. Not sure myself, I've never been...but would love to.

Awwww my poor pal Buddy. Don't worry, if you board him somewhere nice, they will be good to him. He's so sweet.

Prayers for the lady giving up her baby, and for your daughter and her husband...and for your other daughter, too.

So sorry about the loss of your Uncle. Prayers and hugs are being sent your way my dear friend. :)

Blessings to you always and hugs to my Buddy, too. :)

I've never crocheted a doily before, so this is very impressive! Thanks for linking up at Hookin On Hump Day!
