Finally finished and blocked..

I know you have all seen this doily pattern before, but it is what I have been working on...forever
I made this in Ecru..I have a white one and a yellow one listed in my shop already.  But there was a request for an ecru one.  So it is listed and well we will just wait and see if the person was serious.
For some reason or another I had a heck of a time with the last rows..maybe I was just wanting to get it done and was rushing it..Anyway I had to end up ripping out the last two rows cause I didn't like the way it was looking..Come to find out..I was repeating a previous row..So as it took an hour to do each of the last couple rows I was upset with myself cause now it was gonna take even more time to finish it.  Needless to say I stayed up until the wee small hours to finish it up and get it blocked.Ever have a project that for some reason or another just doesn't go right, even though you have made it many times in the past?   Ok..that's it for today..thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts..Blessings my dear blog friends..

Oh my....this is one gorgeous doily! Here's hoping the lady was serious, considering all the time and energy you put into this. Beautiful!

Dang Vikki, that thing is simply gorgeous! And I know why you were wanting to get it done, it's huge and monotonous! Hope that lady was serious after all that you went through to get it done. xoxo

It's very pretty Vikki. I hope the lady purchases it from you. :)

Beautiful! Yes, I have problems like that all the time. The last doily caused me a lot of headache on several rows. I think I ripped out one row at least 3 times. :-(

Vikki, this is amazing. Where is the pattern from? I would love this for my table. Your work is pefect. Re the CAL ... the afghan is on (check Stitchy's blog), Faith and I may do the snowflake and anyone who would like to join in as well. Have a wonderful weekend.

Amazing as alwasy Vikki! I would love to watch you crochet. You create doilies so quickly. I am going to have to check out the CAL afghan the ladies mentioned in comments. Working full time again has seriously dented my creative time but it is worth it. Once I get into the swing again and cold weather comes, I will be crocheting again.

Can you tell me what book this is from? It's lovely and my hook is looking around for just one more project to add to the twenty billion that is currently going on. :)

Could you make three of the white/ivory swirlpinwheel crochet doily, one 36" and two 18"-20"?
