New Pattern from Patricia Kristoffersen

I just finished and blocked this new doily from Trish Kristoffersen.  It is available at her site as a download.  www.pkcrochet.com   All the proceeds from the sale of this doily is being donated to breast cancer research.  Go there and get this doily and support a great cause.

I am trying like mad to get my stuff together for my show this weekend..I think I finally have a grip on it.  This weekend I had 4 of my grandkids here and spent the night Saturday night.  They all left on Sunday to move away..sad..so sad.  Kyle has called me everyday since..he misses me, but with the phone calls it helps him..me too.

I am thinking I will temporarily shut down my etsy store through this weekend as I am taking those doilies with me to the show.  It is really stressful to have them up on display and maybe have one sell.  There is no wifi or internet access there, at least there hasn't been in the past.  But that may have changed with the times.  There didn't used to be an ATM either, but last year there was.  Anyway I haven't added anything to my shop for awhile as I knew this was coming up.  I guess I may rethink my inventory after the show.  So everything is done..I have an order to complete..Jen I haven't forgotten about you..I am hoping to get on it next week sometime..  What am I having on my hook week is nothing but small doilies..99 little Doilies..is the book I am working from and I am not pulling out a different book..at least this week.  There is a pineapple pattern I want to start work on..an older pattern but It will have to wait. Ok I have rambled enough..hope you all have a great week..If someone comes up to give me a break I will take pics of this weekend..if not just pics of my stuff..Thanks for stopping by and hope some of you are able to stop by this weekend
Blessings my dear blog friends.

That is one pretty doily, but then all of your doilies are stunning, so.....I guess it is stunning too. Thanks for sharing the download info, and thanks for stopping by and leaving sweet words in my comments.

Absolutely stunning!

How do you do blocking? Also I have seen washing and blocking mentioned in some crochet books but I just ignore those. Just curious to know if washing and blocking is a must before you consider the crochet work complete? I wash if my new crochet work looks dull, else I just take a picture. Does stitches look more better after washing and blocking?

All the best for your show! :)

Hi Vickster...what's up? Movin the hook I betcha...popping in and around the area to visit, and then I'm off to make some bread..and of course move the hook...Crinoline lady applique is up next...The Irish Rose Doily I put on my curio cabinet, it is a low one so it can be seen. It is a pretty vintage pattern isn't it? Say, btw..the potholder from Maggie weldon..where do I get the corrections for the pattern? Charlotte sent me the pattern but I read I think you said it, there are mistakes..Thanks, Faith
