WOW!! has it been that long?

I am sorry I have been gone so long..I can't believe it has been almost 3 weeks since my last post...for those that have checked in with me..to make sure I am ok..thank you so very much.  It is nice to know I am missed.  This is my booth at my yearly show...the girl in the pic is my oldest daughter.    I am not sure about the show thing.  I think next year may be my last as it is so much work.  I do enjoy seeing people that I only see there.  My craft buddies..and the visiting is nice, but man I am so tired after all is said and done...I couldn't take pics of other booths only my own.  I can't remember why they said we couldn't do it, but at the time it made sense,  oh well..   It wasn't a banner year..it was ok..
This is my sister and her booth...I think she said by the end of the day Sunday she was up like a dollar....but this is coming from a girl who bought 3 bags of walnut taffy, popcorn, fudge, an apron..I am sure there is something else..after the first day we decided to just go to a grocery store and buy stuff to bring to eat so we wouldn't spend so much on junk food.  I usually bring my own food, sandwich, chips, water and pop.... Instead of making the 40 mile each way trip we got a hotel room...now that was different.  It was fun..but look at the pic..everyone is in their pjs at 7 pm the first night....it really rots when you are tired and can't sleep...the second night we got in the hot tub...with t shirts and shorts..only one of us thought to bring a bathing suit..come to find out..we weren't supposed to wear t shirts and shorts in the hot tub..oh well..we are such rule breakers.  Did you know that alot of people have birthday parties for their kids at hotels?  I didn't and we were surrounded by birthday parties..it makes sense..you would have a pool, sleep over, and breakfast and then you know everyone picks up their kids..no mess or fuss at your house..hmm..I never had the money anyway to do that for my kids at the time.  Ok I have tons of work to do around my house today.  So I must get busy..but for those of you who take the time to read my blog..and look for me...I want to have a give away..I am not sure what I am giving away yet..so you will have to be surprised if you are the winner...but I will tell you it may include one of my doilies along with whatever else I can fit in whatever box. So if you are a follower simply leave me a comment and let me know you were here...if you aren't a follower, but a lurker..simply become one..and leave a comment.  I just want you guys to know how much I appreciate you and the time you take to visit my blog.  I am sorry, but due to postage costs..I need to make this USA only...The last day to enter this giveaway..will be October 14th...my birthday!!!!

You can't quit the show. You have to unload some of your finished products or you'll be drowning. Besides you look forward to it, maybe not the clean up and tear down

Your booth looks so beautiful with all the lovely doilies and potholders :) you are so fast in creating so many things in little time. Great job!!
I am not in USA, so I am not in the giveaway. It's just my regular visit to your blog :)

Your booth looks beautiful, as does your sister's. I love that spiral doily in the spotlight!

Whew! Glad that's over...that looks like alot of setup. I hope you did well and folks snapped up your beautiful creations. I have about 43 items for my 1st craft fair...an accumulation of things I've made and have no idea what to do with...LOL...maybe I'll be more selective on what I make, I don't know if I'll do another...

I just found your blog from the Scotty's Place blog. I must say your doilies are gorgeous!! They remind me of the ones my great-grandma used to make when she taught me how to crochet forever ago :) I have just started making doilies from charts, and somehow they never turn out the same as the picture, but I like them anyway haha

I had to laugh when I read how you were all so tired. I would have been right there with you all trying to sleep at 700pm after a long day, too!

Please add me to your list to win your wonderful gift...but I understand if I don't qualify, being fam and all! :)

Hugs and many blessings sweet friend

Yes, time does fly doesn't it? I haven't blogged in forever. So much has happened. I'm glad I didn't do any vending at events. I know it's a lot of work. I haven't had a lot of crochet mojo either. Hope you made at least enough to make it worth your while there! :o)
