Hello on this wonderfully cool fall Monday.  I just listed this doily in my Etsy shop over the weekend.  It is one of my favorite patterns.  This is a design by Trish Kristoffersen.  It used to be available as a download from her site   www.pkcrochet.com   I don't know if it still is, but I know I will get many request as to where you can find it, as it is a beautiful pattern.  I made it with Cebelia size 10 in white...which you can get from my shop..just click on the doily to your right..it will take you there.   I just think if you are going to spend time making wonderful doilies and tabletoppers that you should use heirloom quality threads...but I do understand that we all have our favorites and I truly do not wish to offend anyone...but if you haven't tried DMC cebelia you should give it a whirl...

Believe it or not...I have 2 projects going...for those of you who have followed me for awhile know that it absolutely drives me nuts to have 2 WIPs (works in progress) at once.  So this is a big thing for me...I am making one of my large swirl patterns..only 15 more rows on that and I started a filet...now this is something new for me too.  It is a pattern of the Last Supper, a pattern by Laura Wheeler.  These patterns were found advertised in newspapers..if patterns were still in newspapers I might still be buying a paper.  Anyway I digress, this pattern has over 200 rows and being as it is going to be a large, long project that I may get bored with I thought this would be a good time for me to learn to have more than one thing going at a time. I don't normally do filet, but with all the wonderful patterns out there I thought why not.   I am also using #20 thread which is another abnormal thing going on...usually I stick with #10.   I like it alot, makes wonderful little light stitiches...so alot of new first going on with me and my hook.

Today is Monday so I have laundry to do..and just like every other day alot of dog hair to chase down.  If I only train Buddy to clean up after himself he would be just a perfect dog.  But as it is I am in a love/hate relationship.  Shoot I can't even get my husband to pick up after himself, what makes me think I can train my dog to.  Ok I have rambled enough..I hope you are blessed beyond measure this week, and that whatever you set you hand , you enjoy.  Oh yeah remember the give away for my whatever box...be sure to enter as I am going to draw a name on my birthday....two posts back..be sure to leave a comment on that blog..well maybe this one and I can combine the two...so if you leave a comment here also you will be entered twice...Thanks for stopping by and may you always find the joy....

Congratulations on having more than one WIP going. I'm like you in that it drives me nuts to do that. LOL And your doily is lovely, as always. :)

The first thing I thought of when I saw the picture (before I even read what you wrote) was that was a beautiful doily and wonder where the pattern came from. :)

Awww Buddy is the perfect dog!

Husbands are really hard to train...actually I don't think you can train them. But it's ok, they can't train us either!

Ok, now you are making me want to start TLS...stop it!

I honestly wish I could afford the DMC thread, it's so beautiful and it's a true dream to work with, it's silky and shinny, it's the best thread on the market I believe.

I also love the size 20 and 30 threads, too. I am very impressed that you are using the size 20. You go girl!

Blessings always sweet friend

Beautiful...I don't think I've ever worked with DMC before, not to my knowledge, sometimes with the stores you get what you get..
I'll have to pop over and see what you have, and give a try. My craft is October 19th, I need to get things priced this week...Loving this weather....hope we have a nice long fall season...:)

Beautiful doily! I don't like to have more than one project at a time because I would never finish them. Good luck on the filet project. They are so much fun!
