Well, hello..I am feeling pretty much back to normal..if I can ever figure out what that is.  I still have bionic hearing and trying to adjust to all the little noises that my house makes that I never heard before.  My dog's bark is louder than I thought it was...the dryer makes a clunking sound..the dishwasher makes noise..the hot water heater clicks..I can even hear the rain on my skylights...who knew even the quiet makes noise....

Finished a couple doilies this week..even got them blocked...other than that not much has been going on.  Today I guess we have storms coming our way..so what better way to spend time than pull out more thread and find a pattern....suggestion?
This is the Royal Pineapple Pattern.  It is an old pattern I found on the internet a few years ago.  I made this with DMC  Cebelia thread..the color is cream or #712 on DMC color chart .  I know it looks white, but it is more of an ivory color.

I found this pattern in one of the Year of Doilies book..It is the month of August, and is a Trish Kristoffersen design.  I made it with a discontinued color.  It is DMC  color 619...It is darker than ecru, but lighter than #3033 (mocha) or #842(coffee)...I really like this color and really wish they hadn't stopped making it.

I hope you all have a great week.. stay safe with this major weather system that is moving across our country.  Many Blessings...

Ok my suggestion is the odd Cake pattern I sent to you months ago. I still can not figure it out, but I'm determined to figure it out. Haha
I'm so happy your feeling better, can you hear the snow falling? Just kidding!

Love your doilies, and I agree...they shouldn't have quit making the color of that last doily. Love it! :)

I have that PK doily bookmarked to make. Yours turned out so pretty in that color. It's a lovely doily. The pineapples are always gorgeous too though. Wonderful doilies.

Really glad you're feeling better now Vikki.
I could sort of relate to you with the sounds as when i was with my husband and he got his hearing aids he was fascinated all the way home with things like zipping his jacket and all those little things he hadn't been hearing.
I had no idea he hadn't heard them so it was amazing to see him discovering all the noises in the house as well, like you say.

Doilies are amazing as always!!
I love seeing all your creations.

Take care

:)
