As Promised Doilies Blocked!!!
The pile of doilies waiting to be blocked is getting smaller!! Yipee!! First I want to thank all of you bloggers who make me laugh, who inspire me, and who encourage. Is it wonderful to find people out in the world that share their wisdom and hobbies with us? I think it makes the world a much smaller space and the miles don't seem like miles at all. I enjoy looking at all your creations and reading about the conquests and joys in your lives. Thank you for sharing. More rain and storms heading our way..up to 7 more inches or rain today and tomorrow. Severe storms today, tonight and tomorrow..but then Thursday and Friday no rain..hopefully sunshine. I tell my husband that I am sitting in the sun when I am crocheting under my ott lamp..and I need the sunshine to feel good.. He just grins and says that I better stock up on the bulbs then!! Hope you enjoy the pics..have a great day.

Hi Vikki! Your second picture, did that doily pattern come from an Annie's Attic pattern book? I made that same doily and had so much trouble with it. I am not an expert at crochet by any means but I thought those directions were much more complicated than necessary. What did you think? You can find that doily in one of my older posts. That pattern book is now considered an expensive picture book of doilies, hee hee! Your doilies are all just beautiful. My fav is the last one with the pineapples. Love it!! Do you have doilies all over your home? I do. There could never be too many. I am working on my afghan and also doing a little sewing. Let me know about that second doily~would love to know your thoughts on it. Have a great day!
Mary..yes the second one is one from Annies Attic..I think the directions were poorly written. The pattern was not that difficult, but the editors made it difficult.
All the doilies are pretty. I love especially the last two ones.
OH my! They are very lovely! I can't even begin to imagine the hours spent! I just recently bought lots of thread and a thread book to start making some of my own. I'd love to know on average how long does one take you to complete? Thanks for sharing! great pics! take care
Beautiful doilies , Vikki. I especially love the last one. I like using colours in my doilies.Your work is very neat.
Thankyou for dropping by at my blog.
Incredible, again!! They're all so beautiful. I was just looking for more patterns to try, and I'm just not brave enough yet... maybe soon. ;-)
Hi, I came across your site and wasn’t able to get an email address to contact you. Would you please consider adding a link to my website on your page. Please email me back and we'll talk about it.
Thanks!

All your doilies look very very beautiful..Love the oval one especially!
Wow.....gorgeous!
Hi Vikki!!
Those things that look like burnt hot dogs, are in fact a pair of my old gloves on the fence posts. I thought that one picture looked kind of strange too, but I didn't think hot dogs!! I love it!!!
You do such beautiful work. Thanks for sharing on my WIP Wednesday. I always love to see your creations.
Wow sis, aren't you the busy one!
they look great.
love ya
I'm blown away by your beautiful work. I can't pick a favourite. Such intricate stitches. I pat myself on the back if I manage to complete a lace edging. We call the third picture a duchess set (old fashioned term) do you use that term?
Hi Vikki, I must say such beautiful doilies you make and what a great talent!
