need opinions or advice..whatever you want to call it
I am going to keep this real short, no pics, just a quick note and hope that some of my blog friends will give me some answers or advice. I am thinking about opening an Etsy store. I am curious if one actually sells stuff, and is it worth my time, and should I do it? Ok thats my question. Hopefully you guys will give me advice....Too Etsy or not to Etsy that is the question...Thanks guys

Hi Vikki! I buy a lot of things from etsy and I also had a store for a little bit.... sold a little under half of everything I made for it. I opened it just to test the waters and I did better than I thought I would. I do at some point intend on opening it again. I say open one!!! :o) If it's not going well, you can always stop selling. I think those people who do best are the ones that truly treat it like a small business - devoting time to developing and marketing it.
Thank you so much for the encouragement..hopefully it will go well..just testing the waters..maybe if all goes well, I will try to get a wholesaler to sell me some thread..DMC of course... and sell it just barely above cost..
