Just a quick note to show a pic of my spider web!! one of the simplest patterns ever. The turkey you ask..well I have to make nine crochet feathers...and well it is put on hold..I don't really enjoy working with yarn at all and then I saw some potholder patterns, and well...you know how it goes..so the turkey and its feathers are crammed in a bag..I just might get it done or NOT,,

Wow so intricate, it is beautiful! I know what you mean about not enjoying working on something...hard to stay at it when it isn't fun.
Faith sent me a copy of directions for the pineapple doily in mint. Thanks so much for offering. I have started on it but have had so many different things going on. Darling granddaughter will be back in school next week so I will be keeping busy with projects so I won't miss her so much. When she is here, she gets my attention and crafting time. You know how we grandmothers are. Love that doily!!

Wow! Nice one! Looks intricate as far as chains but simpler as far as the repeats. Very pretty!

Do you have a hard time working with dark colors? I do, even with readers on. I love this one too. :o)

Not your Grandma's pineapple doily is bearutiful, what book is that pattern in? How big is it? I really need to pick up my needle, just not in the right mood.
Love you, glad you are feeling better.

Hi Vikki! now this doily is making me feel like fall decorating and getting ready for halloween ;o)
Thank you for the sweet compliments on my painting post. I like painting, it's one of my favorite things to do.... I have been collecting carousel horses for a very long time...atleast since the mid 80's I would love to see the carousel your father made, how wonderful is that to be able to MAKE a carousel horse! I have one large one(prop) in my garage that I started painting but haven't finished. The large ones that are in my carousel room, on my side bar are actually props, they were bought from a woman in Wisconson who's mother owned a prop company in california many years ago. Have a wonderful day! hugs, Jennifer

I have difficulty with black too but it can be so elegant. Your spiderweb is lovely.
