What a wonderful Monday morning.

Sun is out, windows are open. What more could a girl ask for. Ok..a maid, my house is a mess. I was gone all weekend to visit my mom and dad. I didn't clean or vacume before leaving so I came home to a mess. I need some motivation to get started. My hubby works strange hours. for those that don't know he works as a locomotive engineer, on call all the time. Seems like he sleeps when I want to vacume. I like to get my housework done early so I can do whatever I want the rest of the day..well today that isn't happening. Oh well, I guess it just doesn't matter.. I had a wonderful time with my family this weekend. We went to a pumpkin festival..I forgot my pumpkins at mom's. I am sure she will decorate with them. I forgot to pack my camera so there are no pics. Oh!! MY BIG BOOK OF DOILIES was in my mailbox when I got home..I am so anxious to do some of those patterns!! Thank you to the person who sent it to me!! I just posted this runner to my shop. It is a very easy pattern..you just have to remember to count once in awhile. You can find the pattern in Heirloom Pineapple Centerpieces and Doilies. The designs are by Agnes Russell and it is a House of White birches publication, 1996.

Hey there Vik.

I see you made another nice doily.
I haven't seen a bad one yet!

It was fun Saturday.
Don't worry about pictures from the pumpkin patch. I took plenty. I am going to try to post a few of the "better" ones on my blog this weekend.

Are you going to make something from your new book or are just going tuck in safely away with all your other "must have books"? :)

Love ya Sis
I'll head down your way soon, before winter sets in.
