I just finished this over the weekend. I had to make so many adjustments to this pattern, I doubt I will be able to make another just like it, as I didn't write anything down.
See the ruffled like pineapples..what a b#@#h..I ended up using the little tube things in the balls of thread to "ruffle" them. This is starched heavily, at least the border is. I don't normally starch this stiff.
I love the center part though..that I can make again, no problem. This was a special order, but if she chooses not to take it, that will be ok. I will just list it in Etsy. It looks gorgeous.
I see that I am up to 96 followers..wow!! You know I only started this blog because my mom and sister said I should. Now they aren't even blogging and doubt if they even read my posts. I knew that there are people out there that love to crochet. But I didn't know anyone would be interested in looking and checking in to see what I have made. I wish I could meet up with some of you and compare stuff..like our "stash" rooms, heck even compare stashed patterns. How nice that would be to be able to call one of you and ask if you had a pattern....How sweet.. Any way thanks for becoming a follower and my friend. I do look foward to reading your comments and visiting your blogs. Oh watch for a really neat giveaway when and if I hit 100 followers..who knew..Blessings to you all...

That is a fabulous table runner! What a ton of work you put into that, especially with having to adjust the pattern as you went. It's beautiful!
My mom gave me some balls of thread this weekend. I have some special crochet orders to fill, but just looking at that thread makes me want to start my next doily... Some of the colors made me think of you. ;-)
Lovely as always. :)
I know it's not the same as calling, but you know you can always e-mail me anytime...but I am more than sure if you don't know how to do it, then I won't either. You are a crochet expert woman! I am a mere cobbler...but wow, the things you make are always awesome. :)
Yeah, Harlan was a HUGE let down, I kept wanting to scream, "MY eyes, my eyes." :)
Time for me to go locate my hook and get some work done....
Hope you are having a wonderful day...and hugs to my pal Buddy, too.
Blessings always
Are you an octopus? how do you make so many beautiful things in such a short time....this is another stunner.
Octopus ^^^^ she says. :o) You are definitely quick on the hook. It's beautiful but I think those humpy ones would look better if they were small. Don't you? I bet it was a bitch to do. I can't imagine!
Hi Miss Vikki, LOVE this runner! it looks so complicated... the ruffles are fantastic, you do such nice work. Thank you for stopping in to visit while I was sick, I hope my hubs doesn't get sick :o( Have a Happy Valentines Day! hugs Jennifer
Another beautiful piece. You are amazing. So were there mistakes in the pattern that caused you to have to adjust? I have been hit and miss crocheting lately. I did make two pair of crocheted handwarmers for my granddaughter for Valentine's Day. I gave them to her early. Now she wants another pair in mint green. I had intended to start them already but haven't yet. I have been doing tax stuff and attempting to get piles of papers filed. It never ends! Love the runner, it is beautiful!
Beautiful! Anytime you need a pattern, just request and if I have it, I will send to you. As for the Monkees, I was the only person in my school who watched the first show! My parents would punish me by not letting me watch their show! How cruel :-)
How very nice. I also am working on a table runner. I think this crocheting keeps a gal out of trouble at the stores. lol

Oh, Vik -- I read your blog, every Tuesday morning!
I don't always comment, for that I am sorry, I will always comment from now on.
I'm glad you started your blog and actual keep up with it.

I think once I retire I will be able to post more.
I did post this morning, and I IM'd you to let you know. But, you weren't online. That's why I am here today (Saturday).
I love this new doily, I don't think you have made one that I haven't really like.
I Love you Sis.....
