I think I have lost my MOJO..
Wow..This is the only doily I have finished in the past 2 weeks..I finally got it listed on Etsy..I think I just have those mid winter blues. Although we haven't really had a winter here in Southern Indiana. Lots of grey days though. Today the sun is out and I think it is fairly warm..almost 70 they said for today..how weird has this winter been? The ear surgery went well..they always do for the first couple of weeks. Anyway I am aving sensory overload with all the noises..my dear hubby laughs and is just glad the TV isn't as loud as what I usually have it..Now he says "you can hear that?" and turns it up so he can hear..lol..So for now the surgery was a success.. Now the house hunting is OVER!!!! We found a house..we weren't even going to look at the one we bought, but the realtor insisted..and she was right. The inspection is being done tomorrow and I have to be there so I will take the camera and take some pics and I will post them here tomorrow.......I see I hit 100 followers over the weekend...WOW...who knew that anyone would want to hear what I have to say, or that anyone had an interest in my thread creations..It is funny how we find each other in blog land, but here in my neck of the woods, it seems that nobody works with thread. Anyway..what a good time to hit 100..I am moving..so that means I have to get rid of some things..I plan on having a giveaway..something worthy of a celebration of 100..so stay tuned...for more details..oh my...my hubby wanted to help me pack up my craft room....I couldn't keep him out...so he helped me pack up my thread..my patterns...and then he was done...Oh man..he labeled one box...pattern books, then he labled another box( these are really storage bins),anyway he labeled the 2nd box..more pattern books, and the 3rd box..he labeled..ENOUGH Patterns?....Then he helped with thread..I felt like such a hoarder...I will take pics of those boxes....He never griped, never complained...He just asked if I had enough?..LOL I told him I was saving him money..and a girl never has quite enough..Thanks for taking the time to read, and leave a comment or two..Blessings..

Gorgeous !
Have a nice week.

Great news about your surgery! - glad it worked for you. And congrats on buying a new house. Your hubby is funny - sounds like something mine would do. :)
Congratulations all around!! Ear surgery, house, and followers! I'd say that's a good excuse to be 'off your mojo' for a little while. Celebrate! ;-)
OH my that doily is beautiful. You did a wonderful job! I am so glad the ear surgery went well. Looking forward to seeing pics of the home you bought. Congrats on the 100 followers. I love your blog and seeing all your beautiful crocheted doilies. You are so talented. An artist with thread. Have a wonderful night!!
Vikki, you'll get your Mojo back, there is much going on at your homestead these days. Your probably a little distracted. You'll come back around to it again...
Well that was a jolly good giggle to brighten my day. What a prize you have there in your husband. I'm not surprised that your mojo has run for cover; moving house is up there with the 4 most stressful situations in life. Yet still you have turned out another masterpiece.
I'm so glad your ears have been fixed. Happy hearing. :)
Sooo glad your surgery went good! I'm not envious of your moving, I hate moving! But if I had the chance to buy a nice two story house on a paved road on a big piece of property and it all be paid for, I wouldn't hesitate to move. :o) Yea, I'm dreaming....dreaming of winning the lottery to make that dream come true. :o) I'm sure hubster wouldn't want to pack up my craft stuff! Most is already in tubs but still. You are right though, a girl can never have enough. :o) And congrats on 100 followers!!! I'm surprised you don't have more really, your thread skills are just awesome! I will always be your fan in that respect. xoxo
Lovely doily. Congrats on the surgery and the house buying. Hope you find your mojo soon. Take care.
This is beautiful! :)
I think your mojo and mine went on vacation together! :)
Can't wait to see the pics of the new house.
Glad you are feeling better. :)
I love your doily, I remember making some lamp shade egding with those roses once many moons ago, they are so pretty.
As for the tatting, I find it easy with the needle and quite quick but the shuttle is something else.
Even though I can now actually form the stitches and make a ring I don't think I shall be doing it on a regular basis, too, too fiddly.
I really just wanted to master it as it was bugging me to think that I could'nt do it. lol
Now, crochet I love and patchwork, so maybe I should stick to those.
