I am trying to get back into the swing of things. This is going to be quick though because my house is full of my husband's family from New Mexico. I have a few minutes because they are out house hunting. Glad it is them and not me. I am just getting over my move and don't envy anyone who is in any part of the process. It was so much easier to recoup when I was younger. This move just sucked the life out of me. Anyway..I finished this up the other night..got it blocked and I love the black..I don't have any place in my home to use it. I wish I did, but all my tables are dark wood. I still like it though. I think I will list it in my Etsy shop..you can find the pattern Favorite Pineapple Designs..Rita Wiess. The pattern calls for like a 30 or 20 thread..I used #10..Cebelia and it is 30" around..perfect for a centerpiece..or tabletopper for a small table..I believe Mo and Jo have found each other so MoJo is back. Vikki, that doily is beautiful. Pineapples are a favorite pattern, always have loved them. Do you find it hard to work with black thread? I don't have any eye problems but crocheting with black or dark thread gives me problems. I haven't been doing much of anything,but I will. Thanks so much for your comment. I just keep remembering my mom's words of wisdom. It is amazing how those words come to mind just when needed. I am so glad your Mo and Jo got back together. ;-) Happy crocheting!! Mary

Wow! What a gorgeous table topper. Black is definitely beautiful. I am inspired by this and will certainly try a small black doily. And then maybe a bigger one depending on how my eyes handle it. All your work is lovely. Love from India.
