Now it is time for me and my projects.

Good morning all.  This is going to be a quick post because today is pie day.  Going to make some pies..pecan, pumpkin, and cherry.  Got to get the pie dough made..don't like the bought pie crust..doesn't do my taste buds justice.  Any way..I finally got caught up on all the special orders..this is the last one.  It gets mailed out to Greece (expensive) upon payment.  I used DMC #437(tan) or at least what I call it.    She picked the color and I gotta tell you it looks awesome.  I am going to make some large doilies and tabletoppers with that color.  I never would have thought it would look so well.   So now that all the orders are taken care of  I am going to work on a couple of things for me...like a big Christmas tree...and a star runner.  The star runner I am going to use as a Mantle Scarf.  Hopefully I will get them knocked out fast.  I want to let all my blog followers that I am thankful I got to know some of you quite well..I am thankful for my blog friends.  I hope you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving.

I wish I were as talented.

I've just started a small thread doily today, but nothing near as complicated as yours.
Yours is wonderful!!!

Hi Vikki, Just found your blog the other day and I'm really enjoying looking through all of your posts. Your work is devine! I think this latest doily of yours is stunning! Your customer will be very happy with it I'm sure. I was wondering if you crochet from charts or written instructions?
I prefer working with thread also and have been doing so for a long time. Most of my doily patterns are from the (now out of print..boohoo!)Magic Crochet magazine which are mostly charted patterns which I prefer. I was wondering if you could share where you found this pattern. I would love to make one for myself. Once again you have a lovely blog and I look forward to visiting. Happy Thanksgiving....EAT LOTS! :)
