A Rambling thought..or two..

Just me and my thoughts today.  My heart cries out for the families that lost so much on Friday.  I am not sure if there is anything any of us can do to help them with their grief, their anger, and their loss.  I think the best thing any of us can do is pray.  Pray for acceptance, pray for mercy, pray for love, pray for hope, and pray for peace for all of those affected by this evil tragedy.  And leave it in Jesus' care.  Jesus tells us Whatever is pure, Whatever is Holy on these things dwell..and that is what I am going to do.  If thousands of Christians unite in prayer and hold vigilance over our thoughts is there nothing that our God cannot do?  So I ask that we do not dwell on what is truly ugly, but rejoice, sing, dance and pray In Jesus name..

Went to Joann's Friday..had lots of coupons, 50% off...love the coupons. Rich, the hubby, came with.  Usually I roll my eyes when he says he wants to come..and you all know why...but I gotta tell you we had a great time.  I don't know if it is like this in every Joann's superstore, but mine, yes, Mine..all mine, had all of their crochet pattern books on clearance.  I don't know what that means..are they discontinuing them or just making room for new ones?   I hope it is the latter.  Anyway you know I was all over them.  I didn't find any doily books that I don't already have..I have more than any store around here as far as doilies go.  But I did find  a baby set pattern made with thread,  a rug book and an afghan pattern book..the afghans look really cool..someday I plan on really making myself one.  I have made all my kids one or two..but never made myself one.  What is up with that?

I hope you all are well..and I am truly grateful for my blog family.  I don't know what most of you look like, or even where you live, but I have found some really good people and friends here.  May you all have a week filled with peace, hope and love

Vikki, we think alike. There is so much evil in the world. My heart is touched with compassion for all those families who lost their children and loved ones.

I hope they were just making room for new books also. I have noticed the selection everywhere is dwindling. I thought many of the arts like sewing, crocheting and knitting were making a comeback. One would think patterns would be more plentiful.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Sunday and week!

If only the ugly part of the world would go away. Prayers to the parents of these kids.
I always check out the pattern books but I have almost all of them. But I still like to look. :-0
Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.

I truly don't know what is happening with people but those poor babies and their families.....it just boggles the mind how someone can do something like that to innocent people they don't know.
