Good Morning..I am late in doing my post this week, but for some reason I have been slow on the uptake these past few days.  I have finished a few things..nothing much really.  I am trying to finish up a doily that has been resting on my end table by my chair for weeks now.  I am working on clearing off my table as it hasn't seen the light of day since ...like ....forever..and it is a pretty piece of wood..we had them handmade especially for our home...I am thinking about making a tablecloth..like I said thinking about it.  You want to know what goes through my head when I am contemplating a big project...ok well here goes...What color?
What pattern?  the conversation goes like this..you know this is a big project..a thread eater..gonna take lots of time..do you have the time..and then when it is done..can you protect it..can you keep people from spilling tea or coffee on it..or will you become all weird and pull it off everytime someone even thinks about eating or drinking on it?  Can you keep you husband from setting his dirty work bags on it?...Is it worth the hassle..and that is why it is still in the thinking stages...sounds like  work huh? Ok I can show you pics of the ones I have narrowed it down to..maybe I should just do a big ole topper?

Oh yeah for my thread customers out there...our postage rates are going up  January 24th..so it is going to cost a little more for shipping..sorry..I don't think the stamps are going up..just shipping costs on parcels over 10 ounces..just thought you might want to know.
Thanks for stopping by and reading my thoughts for today..may you all find the joy today.

This is the doily I am working on ..that has been lying around for weeks.

One of the three I am considering for my next project...opinions please.....

The second tablecloth I am thinking of...or do I make this....

stick with a tabletopper...so I have narrowed it down to these three...maybe I should just make all three?  So which one do I do first?

I've never made a tablecloth. I know I don't have enough patience for something that big done with thread. LOL My daughter's mother-in-law had a really pretty one on her table a few years ago. She said she bought it at a thrift store for a few dollars. I about swallowed my teeth! So much work in that thing. But she got a fantastic deal, no doubt.

Wow girl I love them all. I usually only use table toppers. But that second tablecloth is gorgeous! If I know you just a little bit you will eventually make them all! Haahaa

I mean the second pic maybe that's the first tablecloth I do love me some pineapples! Lol I know I know I'm weird that way. Lol hahahahaha

I love the all...I could never choose...which why I have 70 billion projects started...I can never say no to a crochet thread tablecloth, doily....and now knitting has come into the picture, too....I'd better get busy. :)

I have already informed Hubby that my tablecloth is for looks only...it's a trophy tablecloth!

Stay warm and hugs to you my sweet friend.

I have the same conversation in my head whenever I'm thinking of crocheting something with yarn :-) I like the first choice best, but all three are pretty.

Color me different but I vote for #3. That way you could change the color underneath. Just my 2 cents.

Love them all but the second one is the prettiest. I made tablecloths for my kids but haven't made one for myself! Do you keep your patterns in plastic sleeves or just the ones you're working on?

All of them are very beautiful !! I would suggest 2nd one because the pattern is different with some filet crochet. Most of your doilies will have pineapples, so I guess this one would be interesting to work :) I won't say new because you might have definitely crocheted such type of designs too. Looking forward to see all the three. I know you will finish within few days :)

I like your in-progress one! Pretty!

My vote is for #3. Is that because 1 & 2 are too intimidating to me? Maybe...but I also I love the slightly repetitive and detailed pattern of the rounds.

Have a great day and weekend!

I'm a bit late to the conversation but I like the second one best.

They're all beautiful though.
