Say My Name........

I am looking out my dining room window at the trees as they sparkle like diamonds.  The glitter, the sparkle from the ice that has accumulated on their branches truly inspires me to .......screw this..I hate winter..I hate the sparkly branches, the icy driveway, the snow covered rows...I swear the next time they want to name a winter storm...they better name it Vikki...Hey that is only a letter or two away...then maybe just maybe I will have a reason to listen to the weather experts...they will say my name over and over and over...ok...I am done..rant over.....

Being as it is cold, and icy, and snow covered..and doesn't appear to be warming up anytime soon...maybe Wednesday we will see above freezing ....anyway...my plan for today is to get some doilies listed in my shop.  I have not listed anything for quite awhile.  To be honest it is because I have a hard time trying to describe my doilies..and I have to take pics..and I am not so good with the picture thing..but being as "Titus" rolled through and I am not going out..I think I will try to get some of them up.

Progress on the tablecloth you ask?  Well I have about 36 more rows to do...I once again have set it to the side to play with other thread..and different patterns..I have found out something about myself making this thread eater....I hook better after I take breaks from it and work on something different...so it might take me a little longer to finish thread eater, but I will be happy while doing it..

I am out of here for now...not that I am going anywhere.   I have all day..maybe a couple to get doilies posted in my shop...and a hook to move..a house to clean (like that is going to happen)...thanks for stopping by and hope you all stay warm and safe if you are in the path of Titus...see wouldn't you rather hear my name?  May you have many blessings in your travels this week..
I will get these doilies up and posted in my shop...that is the goal for today..

Yeah, I have often wondered why Vikki is left out of the storm names...I always wanted a hurricane named after me, too.

Hubby made it to work, but the roads are a mess....and since everyone in KY seems to think if the roads are white that means go faster, it will be an adventure on his way home again I am sure.

I like having more than one project going....I bore so easily, I could never have just one...and of course there is the knitting, the cross stitching...the writing of stories...and who knows what else I might come up with next!

Live life to the fullest I always say!

Blessings to you always sweet friend.

I read the first several lines of this post and burst out laughing, LOL. I know how you feel. This winter weather has been the absolute pits, it brings you down in the dumps. The other day I ran into a woman at Hobby Lobby and she was so nice (I wish I would have gotten her name) but when she said she kinda loved being in all winter to do her cross stitch I wanted to throttle her with a skein of floss, lol. I think for me it hasn't been the season so much as it has been this bitter cold and snow. I can't seem to get warm, it chills you right down to the bones. Housework should be a 4-letter word. I get up with the good intentions of cleaning, and somewhere between 8am and midnight that thought just flew right out of my head. Now if it was warm enough to open a window it could fly right out of there, but the thought just bounces around among the dust bunnies and small piles of clutter positioned here and there. Heck, this house is lived in and it shows and until House Beautiful wants to feature it in an issue I will just be content.

Good luck getting your doilies all listed. I know you can do it! :) I don't mind the winter weather...as long as I have my electricity. LOL Now summer, that's a different story for me. ;)

Ha-ha Vikki - you made me laugh at the beginning of your 1st paragraph. That's how I'm feeling too. Have a good, relaxing day. :)

I love that picture of your stack of doilies! Man, do I love a doily! Hope your weather breaks soon. We are having a cold spell down here too...the coldest temps of the season. Tomorrow it'll probably be the in 70s! I swear. Wish it would make up its mind. I've covered my rose bush which had already sprouted bunches of new leaves. Hope it makes it.

Did you know they named the Charlotte Hornets after me? Just kidding. We're having sleet right now. I hate cold! Can't wait to see that tablecloth.

I love your work.I have been on a doily kick lately. Almost one a day. I can't believe how much easier it was to find patterns 15 years ago then it is now.
