I can hear you now....

What a beautiful Tuesday afternoon.  Sun is out and everybody is mowing...my windows are shut.  I am having sensory overload.  I didn't realize that I wasn't hearing most noises..now it is almost too much.  Watching tv is awful..the commercials drive me crazy as the come on too loud...and watching a movie with the hubby is something else..I am not sure about the surround sound now at all..rethinking it...but it is good to hear.   I am still walking around somewhat dizzy and disoriented called dr..said that was too be expected..so I am to use warm compresses on my face every 2-3 hours..stay inside away from all the pollen..and drink plenty of fluids..anyway...

On the crochet front....I have only completed one...just one doily this week...Pineapple oval..It is the monthly CAL over at the site I mentioned last post..yahoo group pkdoilies    I made this in #712 cream..looks a little more like yellow right now because it is wet and being blocked..not so much blocking as this oval seems to be doing it's own thing without too much pinning.

found these on ebay as a buy it now.  I usually get outbid. So I am happy to have these, although I did notice that the 01 hook is a boye...so I am looking for a 01 Lee Wards to complete this set..

For those of who that have inquired about the thread eater...Here she lies...I will get it done..I just have to psyche myself up to do it.

This is my WIP  for now..It is the Royal Pineapple Doily..I am using #712 cream again as it is what was sitting on the table when I started it...I am hoping to have it done by the end of the week..we will see..

Thanks for stopping by my blog to see what I have been up to.... May you all have a joyful week and enjoy what ever you set you mind to this week...

Gorgeous, gorgeous doily! Love those oval ones. It does look yellow, but it looks really great in that color. Perhaps you should make another in real yellow? Ha-ha. I'm going now so you don't strangle me!

P.S. Glad you are hearing, but sorry it's so annoying right now!

Glad you're hearing better, and hope it levels out to a degree you can withstand better. :) Your oval doily is gorgeous! Don't you just love it when a doily pretty much blocks itself?! Yay!!! :D

What a gorgeous oval doily, but all of your doilies are stunning! I just picked up a few vintage ones the other day in my travels.

Beautiful work. I really love the oval one. I have two blocked and a third one on the drying board. I need to get in the mood for pictures.

Beautiful, it makes me think of my mother and mother-in-law. I have the set of needles that belonged to my mother-in-law. My lace handkerchief that my mother made for me when I got married. Thank you for stopping by my blog and I am one of your new followers. Have a good day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
