Hello my dear friends...time once again has escaped me.  I don't know where it goes and how I don't get the things done that I want to get done..It's not like I haven't been doing anything...I feel like I have been really busy..but nothing seems to get done...do you know what I mean?  Oh well..

My family is going to grow a little more in November.  My daughter and son in love have been chosen by a young woman who is placing her son for adoption ..to raise her son.  This is the second adoption process for my daughter's family..it is time consuming, it is expensive..and it is stressful.  So I ask if you are inclined to pray I ask that you pray that all goes well for my daughter..and especially for the young woman that is unselfishly placing her baby with my daughter.   I am sure it has to be the most difficult decision this girl has faced in her lifetime thus far..so I ask that you pray for her...and all her needs..and that she will be blessed beyond measure for her gift to us.

I made these last week....Made with DMC Cebelia lilac/purple #210...can be found in my etsy shop ..  www.etsy/shop/byhooks4u
These are a Patricia Kristoffersen design and can be found in the book Absolutely Gorgeous Doilies.  One of my favorite pattern books...

This week I am making a bunch of little doilies for the annual craft show I do....Yep...this is gonna be the last year...it is alot of stress..and I don't feel I have much to offer this year..we will see how it goes...so if you are southern Indiana..Evansville area..and want to go to one of the best craft shows around...September 26 & 27 Vanderburgh fairgrounds....9-4...over 400 crafters..all supposed to be handmade crafts..

Hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day weekend...be safe..

Hi, Congratulations to your daughter and I am sending prayers and hugs to both the adopted parents and the mother who is giving up her child. Your doilies remind me of what my mother used to do. I have enjoyed catching up with you this morning. Take care. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend Shirley

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know adoption is not as smooth as many think it is. Congrats to all of you and I will be praying for all of you including the strong young woman making this major decision.
Hugs,
Meredith
