Not your grandma's pineapple doily.

This is a Patricia Kristoffersen pattern from her Absolutely Gorgeous Doilies book. The name of the pattern isPineapple Song. I made it with DMC Cebelia thread #712, which I think is called cream. I am so liking this. Thought you might want to have a look before I list it in my shop.
I am still working on the tablecloth, but am getting bored so I have a couple of other things on my hook..which is out of the ordinary for me. I get overwhelmed when I have too many projects going and it tends to make me not do anything...ADHD kicks in bad. I just have to think about what else I want to do and I get overwhelmed. Does this happen to anyone else..or am I just weird? Christmas is coming and I want to make a couple more small trees, and some gifts for my daughters..what the will be I don't know. I am so glad you guys stop in and read my stuff..I think when I reach 100 followers I might have to do a really good giveaway to celebrate..when it gets closer I will give you details..Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great week..

What a beautiful pattern!! The design is very intricate without being overwhelming. GORGEOUS!!!

I usually have several projects going at a time. What's bad is when I forget about some... I recently remembered a Broomstick Lace scarf I'd been working on. Oops!! Got a bit more done on that this weekend.

I get overwhelmed when I push myself too hard. Sometimes I have to stop for awhile or do something entirely different -- yarn vs. thread, for example. I find threadwork is very satisfying to the soul. I love yarn, but there is something about the other!

Anyway, you do amazing work!

Renee :)

What a beautiful doily and work of art. I too tend to get a little overwhelmed when I have too many projects "in the frying pan". Have a great week. :-)

I get bored really easy with large projects. That's why I have so many started. My thing is doing little projects that I can get done relatively quick and it's not so monotonous (sp?)that I just want to yawn and quit. :o) I also get intimidated by patterns that have so much going on in one row that I lose my spot. I have nothing but admiration for you with your doilies. And no, you're not weird! :o)
