Last week's Accomplishments....

This is a pattern from Maggie Weldon..don't ask me the name or how to get it..I just found it in my stash of patterns.. I made it with Ecru and Marroon..I think I am going to make one in white and yellow..and maybe a blue and purple..
This is the Royal Pineapple Pattern.  I made this in antique rose a few weeks back..This one is done in Ecru..Really a traditional pattern.  There is another doily waiting to be blocked from last week.  I am thinking I will get to it today..So not too bad..3 doilies in a week..My mojo has returned.

The weather has been extremely warm..ok..HOT in Sounthern Indiana.  We haven't gotten any rain since early May..So it is very dry and we have burn bans that have been in place since before Memorial Day.  I don't think there will be many private fireworks displays on the 4th this year.  The little town I live on is right on the Ohio River and the village does fireworks over the river.  Really pretty.

Speaking of burn ban..The fire department is out fighting a field fire.  The news says they have shut down roads in order to contain the fire.  The Humane Society is in the path of the fire, as are a few businesses.  Hoping they get it under control.

Oh yeah...for those of you who are curious about the Craft show I mentioned in my last blog...Here is some infor..I will give you more as the date gets closer...This craft show has over 400 crafters..yes it is a big show..and everything is supposed to be handmade or they will kick your butt out.  It is held at the Vanderburg County Fairgrounds on the last full weekend inSept .  It is the only show I do.  OK...it is in Indiana, Evansville..Stitchy you gonna be able to make it?  Would love to meet you in person..Barbara from http://onecraftylady.blogspot.com  has family in my neck of the woods.  She will be here and I am excited to meet a blogfriend..OK I have some things to do..some blocking to be done, a hook to grab and a dog to brush..so I gotta go.  Thanks for stopping by, be sure you let me know you were here and Blessings my dear friends..

Yes, lady, I would say you have your mojo back! All three of those in one week? Astounding! I am amazed. I love the pineapple table topper. Just beautiful and you are so fast. My mojo is gone. Darling granddaughter is here today and she has a tummy virus. Poor baby. I feel so bad for her. I am making her as comfortable as I can. I think it is getting better.
We have the same dry weather with burn bans in effect. We really, really need some rain.
Hope you stay cool, 101 predicted for Thursday. Ugh!!

Lovely doilies (as always)! I love the red and the white, could be used for V-day and Christmas, too. Lovely. And of course who doesn't love a pineapple doily! I know I do.

I'll let ya know about the show in Evansville as the time gets closer...I love Evansville...and I use to go to the Village Knitter in your downtown area when I use to live up towards that way. The lady who runs the shop is super nice, parking is a pain in the butt, but the shop is nice.

Hugs to Buddy and hope you are all staying cool...I am close to the ac vent with a big ole' glass of iced tea near by!

All of your doilies are so pretty! Way to go, Vikki! You really have a talent for working with thread. I'm glad your mojo has returned. I hate it when it goes missing on me too! ;)

Very pretty! I like the contrasting colors. Glad to hear your mojo is back; it's awful when it leaves!

Thank you for being a follower of my blog. WOW, you must have alot of patience. These doilies are lovely. I do not work well with the thread yards to crochet.
