Time passes fast...I didn't realize that I haven't posted a thing for about 2 weeks.  It is funny how life gets in the way of keeping up on things.  Well, let me fill you in on what has been going on....not a whole lot...I had to have what I thought were a couple of little spots removed from my neck..thought they were going to be little bitty type of things..no big deal..I posted pics at the end of the post in case some of you are a little squeamish about such things...anyway I have bigger incisions that what I thought was going to be there...so while I have been recuperating I made a few things..not much mind you..just a few.  I just blocked them this morning.  A couple of them are an order..I just got them done.  She has been quite patient with me.  I am not so sure how I feel about the runner.  I tried to revamp the pattern and attach them with the long chains in the middle of it.  It didn't work..so I tried another thing and that looked really gross..so I just attached them like they are motifs.  I am still not sure how I feel about them..oh well....

I haven't worked much on the thread eater ..no excuses other than I am really tired of it...just a row a day I say..which takes anywhere from 2 to 3 hours...I have to stop looking at it like that and just bite the bullet and do it.  The thing about this pattern is if I stop in the middle of a row..I can't find my place so if I pick it up I almost have to commit to 2 or 3 hours..and if your house is like mine..to just sit for that amount of time to get something done without having to do something else is hard to do.  I am hoping to work on it sometime

this week...

Well thanks for stopping by.  I hope you all have a wonderful week and that you are able to stop and find your blessings..

Good Lord, that is horrible! You poor thing! You will be surprised at how nicely it heals. I had an incision on the front of my neck from a surgery, and it's hardly noticeable anymore. It blends right in with a wrinkle! Ha-ha. Ah-hem.
